  • Contributed to the design, programming, and implementation of a novel, bespoke high-speed Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) using C, Bash, ELK Stack, Kibana, and Elasticsearch, enabling microsecond-level packet-timing fingerprinting
  • Created a mock network attack in CORE exploiting RIPv2 and IPsec routing protocols, and demonstrated a following mitigation by implementing hash table caching in C for the NIDS
